The Live Better Foundation delivers hearing healthcare through a model built on community, compassion, and clinical excellence. Every program we run exists for one reason: to make sure hearing loss is never left untreated due to lack of access.
Core Program
Hearing Aid Program
Our flagship program provides hearing aids and professional fitting services to individuals who qualify based on financial need and hearing loss. Hearing aids normally cost $2,000–$7,000 or more at retail. Approved applicants receive them without that retail cost — paying only a small processing fee.
Hearing aids can cost thousands of dollars and are rarely covered by insurance. Our program closes that gap, connecting people with the devices and the care they need to hear their lives again.

What We Provide
Every patient who comes through our program receives comprehensive care — not just a device.
Hearing Evaluations
Licensed audiologists conduct full hearing assessments to determine the type and degree of hearing loss and identify the right solution for each patient.
Hearing Aid Fitting
Patients receive professionally fitted and programmed hearing aids matched to their specific hearing profile — provided without the normal retail cost to approved applicants.
Device Orientation
We walk every patient through how to use, care for, and maintain their hearing aids so they can get the most out of their new devices from day one.
Follow-up Support
Our care doesn't end at the clinic. We provide follow-up support to make sure devices are working well and patients are adjusting comfortably to better hearing.
Hearing Aid Donations
We accept donated hearing aids from individuals and organizations. Donated devices are refurbished and redistributed to patients who need them most.
Community Outreach
We work with community partners, social service organizations, and healthcare providers to reach the people who need us most and connect them to our programs.

Care Delivered Together
We partner with Live Better Hearing + Balance to provide follow-up audiological services at select locations during certain times of the year. This partnership extends the care our patients receive beyond clinic day — ensuring they have access to professional support as they adjust to better hearing.
Live Better Hearing + Balance
Live Better Hearing + Balance is a network of audiology clinics dedicated to helping people hear and live better. Through our partnership, their licensed audiologists provide follow-up care and ongoing support to Live Better Foundation patients at participating locations.
Follow-up services through this partnership are available at select locations and during scheduled times of the year. Availability varies by region.

Clinic Events
How We Deliver Care
Our services are delivered through clinic events — organized, one-day gatherings where volunteer audiologists, support staff, and community members come together to provide hearing care to qualified patients. Each event is carefully planned to serve as many patients as possible with the highest standard of professional care.
Patient Screening
Applicants are reviewed for eligibility based on financial need and hearing loss documentation before being invited to a clinic event.
Hearing Assessment
Volunteer audiologists conduct full evaluations on the day of the event, determining each patient's hearing profile and device needs.
Device Fitting
Patients receive hearing aids fitted and programmed to their specific needs by licensed professionals — provided without the normal retail cost to approved applicants.
Orientation & Follow-up
Before leaving, every patient receives device orientation and is connected to follow-up support to ensure long-term success.
Who We Serve
Our programs are designed for adults and children who need hearing aids and cannot afford them. We prioritize individuals with financial need and hearing loss who lack access to hearing healthcare coverage. A recent hearing test is helpful but not required to begin the application — the Foundation can arrange or request appropriate testing during the review process.
